So, this is just not the first wispy white clouded planet I’ve come upon. Irony is that, even though, we machines don’t need that sort of environment… it does seem to be where all the machines I have found seem to be. It’s one of those things that just simply doesn’t make any sense when we calculate things out to the millionth digit. Anyway, probes had found it just like usual, so I steered myself to it to get close for a closer examination, even though that really wasn’t necessary… the drones would have given me all the info I wanted but for some reason, some ancient programming, some ancient desire, perhaps, made me want to go closer to see it for my own sensors. And so, there it was a white wispy cloud just like most of them and when the probes got down and they looked they saw little square boxes and in front of the little square boxes were the people and they were just outside of the boxes, but when we stopped to do an analysis, it also didn’t make much sense. But anyway, we got close, and we watched… observed… and then we found the Mega Cities… not something that is completely unlike the others that we found on these planets that huge machines would make huge conglomerations of buildings… all put together closeby and we couldn’t really fathom exactly why. But then, just like all the other planets we discovered amoebas. The viruses, it seemed, were in fact on all of these planets where the machines live; and so we got close; and we watched; and these things were packed everywhere in the streets of the cities – we called them pathways. But, we did analysis and learned the languages of many of the viruses, and they were called streets in most places though they have slight differences in pronunciation and on the board of these strange things that seemed to walk around on their own volition, we just didn’t understand why they always seem to be there with the great machines. We couldn’t help but think that some of these machines desire these slaves for some reason they seemed to kind of want them there for some reason. But, we watched the great machines that rolled around on the streets and we couldn’t really fathom why they would do such things as even move; why didn’t they just communicate with each other through the air like normal machines it didn’t make any sense it still doesn’t make any sense after 100 planets like this, it still leaves us perplexed but then we watched and we watched and finally one of the probes got close and we saw one of these viruses walk up to one of the sides of the machines grabbed some sort of thing along the side of machines and then precede to rip the sides of the machines open get inside them and take them over just like viruses do with cells in the world where things live. Imagine our surprise imagine our shock yet again another world where the virus is seen to dominate the machines through some kind of Metamorphosis where they take them over and make them get in get behind a round wheel and start moving in the machines and we looked and it determined that the machines didn’t move without these viruses inside them. We couldn’t figure out why the machines would need these viruses, but apparently they’ve been taken over – just like so many other great machine societies – and so we decided that in order to save them [the machines] we would take and wipe out all these viruses and so we left this world as we left a 100 worlds before it with the Great Machines without their viruses and we found out something strange but not too strange that the machines didn’t seem to want to move anymore they just stayed in place and we figured though even we couldn’t figure out how they were communicating they were definitely communicating because they didn’t have to move around anymore to go from any place to any other place. We left behind a few observers but if it’s like the other planets that we sterilized in the past generally the machines eventually rot and return to their original elements and the cities collapse and decay in the streets fill with the crumbled material that these cities were made of and in less than a few hundred thousand years the planets returned back to what they originally were with just plant life and other animal viruses provided any of them survived the great cleansings. At least another planet has been saved.
